What I do

I'm Steven Hsieh, founder of Yumo Labs and a boutique AI builder. I build AI operating systems, automations and custom apps for growing businesses. It is AI consulting that ends in working software: a memory for the business that holds what the team knows and handles the routine work.

• Systems. An AI operating system inside the tools a business already runs: inbox, calendar and documents. It answers inquiries, follows up in the owner's voice, sends a daily brief and ranks leads.
• Software. A custom app that holds the owner's knowledge, rules and pricing. It ships in the app stores under the client's name, and the client owns the code, accounts and data.

Who it's for

My focus is golf: coaches, club fitters, courses, and performance and rehab. I also work with other growing businesses that run on a few people's memory and time.

How it goes

1. Discovery, free. Thirty minutes on goals and what keeps breaking. We find out if there is a fit.
2. Audit, $1,500. A written map of where work gets dropped and a proposal for what I would build first. The fee comes off the build.
3. Build, quoted in the proposal. A system goes inside the client's own accounts, or an app gets built as theirs. Either way, they own it.
4. Compound, ongoing. Every week it holds more of how the business works.

Recent work

• A one-person content business. It finds the sponsor deals that fit her rates, pitches in her voice and fills in the applications. It never spends a dollar without her.
• A startup founder. A partner reads his calendar, email and tasks, pushes back when the week slides into the weeds, and reports back every week.
• A volunteer-run health nonprofit. One shared memory answers the questions every volunteer used to ask the same two people, and turns donation receipts into thank-you drafts.

About me

I was a senior product manager at Meta and Amazon. At Meta I built the knowledge system our product team ran on. A descendant of it runs Yumo Labs now, from the week's plan to the finances and the code. I'm client zero.
