# Yumo Labs

> I'm Steven Hsieh, founder of Yumo Labs and a boutique AI builder. I build AI operating systems, automations and custom apps for growing businesses. It is AI consulting that ends in working software: a memory for your business that holds what your team knows and handles the routine work. My focus is golf, and I work outside golf too.

## What I build

- Systems: an AI operating system inside the tools a business already runs, such as the inbox, calendar and documents. It answers inquiries, follows up in the owner's voice, sends a daily brief, uses the team's knowledge and ranks leads.
- Software: a custom app that holds the owner's knowledge, rules and pricing. It ships in the app stores under the client's name, and the client owns the code, accounts and data.
- Pinsight: my own golf app, golf course strategy that remembers how you play. Launching April 2027.

## How it goes

1. Discovery, free: thirty minutes on goals and what keeps breaking. We find out if there is a fit.
2. Audit, $1,500: a written map of where work gets dropped and a proposal for what I would build first. The fee comes off the build.
3. Build, quoted in the proposal: a system goes inside the client's own accounts, or an app gets built as theirs. Either way, they own it.
4. Compound, ongoing: every week it holds more of how the business works. Year two beats year one.

## Recent work

- One-person content business: sponsor forms were eating her evenings. Now it finds the deals that fit her rates, pitches in her voice and fills in the applications. It never spends a dollar without her.
- Startup founder: he wanted to lead like a senior executive, not a firefighter. Now a partner reads his calendar, email and tasks, pushes back when the week slides into the weeds, and reports back every week.
- Volunteer-run health nonprofit: every volunteer asked the same questions of the same two people. Now one shared memory answers them and turns donation receipts into thank-you drafts.

## Who I work with

Golf businesses first: coaches, club fitters, courses, and performance and rehab. Other growing businesses that run on a few people's memory and time are welcome too.

## About

Before Yumo Labs, I was a senior product manager at Meta and Amazon. At Meta I built the knowledge system our product team ran on. A descendant of it runs Yumo Labs now, from the week's plan to the finances and the code. I am client zero.
